Cloud: AWS & Google Cloud
Get out of the server closet. Keep working through the storm.
We plan and run cloud setups on Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud, alongside Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Moves happen on a schedule, costs stay in check, and your team can work from anywhere.

What we do in the cloud
The cloud, set up like it matters.
Cloud is only cheaper and safer when it’s configured well. That’s the part we handle.
- 01
Migrations
Move file shares, line-of-business apps, email and old servers to AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace without stopping work.
- Planning, testing and a cutover scheduled after hours
- Files and permissions moved intact
- Old hardware retired and wiped properly
- Clean-up and tuning once everything is running
- 02
Hosting for apps and websites
Reliable hosting for your software, portals and sites, set up and watched by the people who built them.
- Right-sized servers and managed databases
- Monitoring, logging and alerts
- Automatic backups with tested restores
- Cloudflare in front for speed and protection
- 03
Hybrid setups
Some things belong in the cloud and some belong in the building. We connect the two so it feels like one network.
- Secure links between the office and the cloud
- Single sign-on across cloud and local systems
- A clear map of what lives where
- Room to move more to the cloud over time
- 04
Cloud security
Most cloud breaches come from a setting nobody checked. We lock down accounts, access and data from the start.
- Multi-factor sign-in and least-privilege access
- Encryption for data at rest and in transit
- Activity logging and alerts on risky changes
- Setups that support HIPAA and PCI-DSS requirements
- 05
Cost cleanup
Cloud bills creep. We find what nobody is using, right-size the rest and set alerts so surprises don’t repeat.
- Line-by-line review of your AWS or Google Cloud bill
- Idle resources shut down and storage tiered
- Budgets and alerts on spend
- Savings plans where they make sense
- 06
Disaster recovery
If a storm closes the office, your systems keep running somewhere else. We build and test that plan with you before hurricane season.
- Backups stored in more than one region
- Documented recovery steps and contacts
- Test restores on a schedule
- Remote access so staff can work from anywhere
Why WITTCO
Cloud help from people who also run your IT.
AWS and Google Cloud
We work in both, and we’ll recommend the one that fits your software and budget instead of the one we prefer.
Security built in
Accounts, access and backups are set up by the same team that handles your cybersecurity.
Storm-ready by design
On the Gulf Coast, recovery planning isn’t optional. We treat it like part of the job.
Questions
Cloud questions
Which cloud platforms do you work with?
Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud for hosting and infrastructure, plus Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace for email, files and collaboration. We’ll recommend whichever fits your software and budget.
Can you move us off the server in our closet?
Yes. We plan the move, migrate files and applications, and schedule the cutover so your team keeps working. Some businesses go fully cloud and some keep a small on-site server. Either can be right.
Is the cloud actually secure?
Set up correctly, it’s usually safer than a server in a back office. The catch is the setup: access controls, multi-factor sign-in, encryption and logging. That’s the part we handle.
Our cloud bill keeps growing. Can you help?
Often. We review what you’re running, shut off what nobody uses, right-size the rest and set alerts so a surprise bill doesn’t happen twice.
What happens to our systems during a hurricane?
With cloud hosting and tested backups, your team can keep working from anywhere with internet, even if the office is closed. We help you write and test that plan before storm season.
Thinking about moving to the cloud?
We’ll look at what you run today and give you a straight answer on what should move, what shouldn’t and what it would cost.
